APPROACHES TO PREVENTION AS CONCEPTUAL FOUNDATIONS OF STATE POLICY ON CRIME PRECAUTION

Abstract. There are certain theoretical models of prevention at the heart of state policy aimed at crime precaution. The purpose of the article is the analysis of the main models of crime prevention, which were developed by western and domestic researchers during the last half a century. On the basis of a whole number of theoretical sources the author logically analyzes both the models previously known to Russian scientists, and those, which up to now haven’t become a subject of special study in domestic social sciences.
