PROTECTION OF WILD FAUNA AND FLORA in INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS LAW

Abstract. The article deals with some ecological aspects of international customs law. The protection of wild fauna and flora is one of the most important environmental trends of modern international law, both common and regional. International customs law protects wild fauna and flora through relevant prohibitions and restrictions, which are realized by national customs bodies. The role of the World Customs Organization in the protection of wild fauna and flora is noted. The conclusion about the strengthening of the ecological direction of international customs law is drawn.
