PROSPECTS OF “NEW ATHEISM” DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. In the article the author considers the directions of the development of the ideas of “new atheists”, the impact of “new atheism” on contemporary Anglo-American free-thinking, and suggests the possibilities of the further evolution of the free-thinking movement on the basis of the analysis of the works of such followers of “new atheism” as E. S. Greilin, J. W. Loftus, P. Boghossian and G. Christina. The untranslated writings of the followers of “new atheism” and of the foreign researchers of this movement are introduced into scientific use.
