Abstract.
The article focuses on the problem of delinquency growth among young people. Relying on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience the paper clarifies the conception “prevention of juveniles’ delinquent behaviour”, discovers the content of the theories of cultural deviations, social control and stigmatization, which emphasize the role of society in organizing the activity on crime prevention. The authors reveal the conceptual provisions, methodological approaches and components of the prevention of juveniles’ delinquent behaviour.
