CORPOREALITY WITHIN THE LIMITS OF HUMAN EXISTENCE

Abstract. The article compares the status and role of corporeality in the philosophical, aesthetic and social aspects of the history of western culture. The phenomenon of the body is considered as an essential element of human existence. Corporeality is represented as an integral, independent human characteristic in the process of the identification, self-cognition and comprehension of the external world. The status and meaning of the human body in the unity of his/her inner and outer existence are studied.
