THE SECOND PIANO SONATA BY MIKHAIL ZAICHIKOV: SPECIFICS OF PERFORMER’S INTERPRETATION

Abstract.
The article examines the issues devoted to the interpretation of music by the modern Voronezh composer M. Zaichikov. The performer’s interpretation of the compositions of the second half of the XX century is closely associated with the modified composer’s practice parameters manifesting themselves in the considerable extension of the range of artistic, technological, facture ideas. In the composer’s Second Piano Sonata the interpreter’s tasks involve the interpretation of the artistic content of the composition, the idea of which is revealed in the poetical epigraph; solving dramaturgic and compositional-structural tasks aimed to create the integrity and density of the three-part macro-sonata composition.
