Abstract.
The article examines the conception of the integrity of a human and nature in Chinese cult architecture. The author analyzes the works of modern Russian, Chinese and European scientists and shows that cult architecture in China was endowed with special semantic meanings. According to the researcher, the conception of the integrity of a human and nature is the basic one in cult architecture. The paper justifies the integrity of architecture with natural landscape.
