Abstract. Trivial and mythological cognitions are considered in the article as sources of all the subsequent forms of cognition, which embody contradiction between the necessity of the continuous identification of the truth of the ideal images of consciousness in material and practical reality, on the one hand, and the aspiration of the cognizing subject for going out of everyday experience, for the reproduction of the world in its integrity - on the other hand.
