PERSONALISTIC INTERPRETATION OF PROTESTANT HAMARTIOLOGY IN EMIL BRUNNER’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract.
The article analyzes personalistic interpretation of Protestant hamartiology in Emil Brunner’s creative work. Such an approach, on the one hand, suits the Reformation anthropological purposes and, on the other hand, focuses on the dialectics of interpersonal relations between God and a human being. E. Brunner’s hamartiology can be described as metaphysical actualism. Remaining incomprehensible in its essence, the totality of human sin is based on meta-empirical act of defection from God.
