Abstract.
The article provides the results of studying the activity of Harbin Creative Artists’ Trade Union. The data for the first time introduced into scientific use are presented in the form of chronicles based on archival documents. The events in the period from November, 1925 till 1929 are commented on and evaluated. The author concludes that the activity of Harbin Creative Artists’ Trade Union, apart from its basic functions, promoted considerably the propagation of Russian classics and performance school in the Asian-Pacific region.
