CONCEPT OF “AESTHETIC-EXISTENTIAL UNDERSTANDING” OF M. K. MAMARDASHVILI’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract.
On the basis of works by M. K. Mamardashvili the article examines the aesthetic-existential approach to the practice of thinking. The philosopher explicates the act of thinking by not just phenomenological methods of consciousness interpretation, it is associated with the “pragmatics of consciousness” that is with the regime of conscious human existence involving the whole existential potential of the individual, and with the “aesthetics of consciousness” presupposing a creative, procedural-dynamic approach to the acknowledgement of one’s “I” in the aesthetic harmony of spiritual energy.
