Abstract.
The article considers the features of the architectural styles ‘baroque’ and ‘classicism’ and the examples of architectural ensembles built in these styles in the large cities of Western Siberia. The authors analyze relation and influence of the styles on development of ordinary building (residential, industrial), arts and crafts and so on.
