Abstract. The article reveals essence of Buddhist prasanga and middleness principles constituting the basis of the Madhyamaka Prasangika school of the Gelug tradition. The absurdization principle of this school is associated with the supreme level of Buddhist philosophy being its distinctive feature. The principle of middleness of things is the key concept of Prasangika ontology.
