Abstract.
The paper touches upon a problem of saving song creativity as one of the components of the ethnic Germans’ national culture within the Altai Territory. The purpose of the article is to show the peculiarities of the preservation of ethnic culture in song creativity by the example of the vocal and choreographic ensemble “Loreley”. The work is devoted to the activity of K. I. Petkau - the organizer of the first centre of German culture in the Altai region and the artistic director of the ensemble - to his 80th anniversary.
