Abstract.
The article pays attention to the need for moral attitude toward the planet, wildlife, life in general in terms of religion, morality, and philosophy. The authors return to the problem of a human being’s status in hierarchy of living expanding boundaries of morality to the level of global moral consciousness. As an example philosophy of Hans Jonas, which he called ontological axiology, is given. At the heart of the German-American philosopher’s doctrine there is a principle of responsibility for the future.
