Abstract.
The article considers trust as a fundamental aspect of digital social interactions. Online trust occurs in environments where direct and physical contacts don’t take place, where it is possible to interpret moral and social pressure differently and where interactions are set by digital devices. Trust implies both reliability of technology and responsibility on the part of the developers of this software application.
