VISUAL-SEMIOTIC REPRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATIVE STRATEGY OF TERRORIST MOVEMENTS IN THE EPOCH OF SOCIAL TURBULENCE

Abstract. The article considers new tendencies in public representation and the form of communication with the society of contemporary terrorist movements. Transformation of the post-modernist model into the socio-turbulent society led to the change of orientation from the search for values to permanent affecting the sensual sphere. Terrorist propaganda integrates in new rules of the game: dominance of the aesthetic at extreme eclecticism in the ideological field, visualization of extremist discourse in the form of half-glamorous images became characteristic features of terrorism of the epoch of social turbulence.
