Abstract. The focus of the authors’ attention is on the “third” world as new space for a man. It is emphasized that the “third world” that appeared as a result of interaction of objective and subjective worlds has relative independence and plays a decisive role in the life of the modern man. Significant elements of the “third” world are virtual games, money, acquaintances, social communication and many other things that have no physical content. A new form of idealism associated with a person’s ability to live in the world of symbols without paying attention to empirical reality has appeared.
