Abstract.
The article discusses consequences of scientific progress in relationship with history of Novosibirsk Science Campus, as well as phenomena caused by progress of modern technologies in the sphere of information exchange and computer equipment in terms of harmony, positive human aspirations. The paper shows deep contradictions of the processes taking place between their original perfect idea and reality of later embodiment. The author presents an analysis of how progress in information technologies affects the mass consumer.
