ESTABLISHMENT AND ACTIVITY OF FATAH AT THE TURN OF THE 50-60S OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract.
The article discusses the main causes of creation and peculiarities of activity of the “Palestinian National Liberation Movement” (Fatah) at the turn of the 1950-1960s. The author highlights specificity of the composition of the organization and peculiarities of the political positions formation; analyzes strategic and tactical principles and methods of the Palestinian problem solution. In the process of the research it was determined that the main condition for Fatah functioning was independence of the liberation movement, and the primary means of achieving the goal was armed partisan struggle.
