MUSICAL DRAMATURGY IN PAUL MCCARTNEY’S ACADEMIC WORKS

Abstract.
The article analyzes parameters of academic works by Paul McCartney - the ballet “Ocean’s Kingdom” and the oratorio-mass “Here Is My Heart”. The paper discusses stylistic features of these works and their interaction, parameters of intonation, timbre and some aspects of dramaturgy. In connection with the artistic texts of the analyzed opuses, references are made to P. McCartney’s creativity and works by other composers - P. Tchaikovsky, D. Shostakovich, C. Debussy, J. Tavener, A. L. Webber.
