NATURE OF CREATIVITY IN PHILOSOPHY OF PSYCHOANALYSIS

Abstract.
The article deals with the problem of creativity within the framework of classical philosophy of psychoanalysis. Complexity of the study of this phenomenon is related to dual nature of creative activity, which includes the conscious and the unconscious, the rational and the irrational, relies both on logic and intuition. The study of these, at first sight, mutually exclusive aspects of creativity is necessary for understanding its essence and mechanisms. An enormous role in this process is played by understanding nature of the unconscious, ideas of which outside philosophy of psychoanalysis would be incomplete and insufficient.
