Abstract.
The article discusses the process and outcome of partial feminization of human civilization. The definition of the concept “feminization of civilization” is given. The search for new ways of civilization development requires rethinking and working out optimal solutions to the modern world challenges. Their overview from the perspective of the gender approach is presented. Universal values, the axiological aspect of feminism, ideals and interests are actualized. Special attention is paid to the progressive nature of ideas of feminist and gender thought that become stabilizing and humanizing factors of the modern civilization. Negative aspects of feminization in Russia are identified.
