Abstract.
The article deals with the space-time characteristics of the modern means of social communication in the aspect of the transversality conception. Development of communication technologies has led to the fact that the media have become the chronotope entirety of communicative events that change social relations. It is asserted that in the conditions of pluralism of value paradigms transversality is a basis for interaction of incommensurable discourses.
