Abstract.
In the article the process of organization and execution of land-allocation works in the resettlement areas of the Semipalatinsk region at the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century as the largest territory in the Steppes region, which accepted the resettlers, is analyzed. The stages of land-surveying, which have their specificity and peculiarities, as well as scales of land fund involvement in land-surveying of sites intended for resettlers are singled out. The process of intra-allotted delimitation is analyzed. The comparative analysis of the activity of the land-allocation party of the Semipalatinsk region on an annual basis is given.
