SOCIO-CULTURAL APPROACH AS A METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLE

Abstract.
The article reveals the peculiarities of a socio-cultural method. The author analyzes in detail the research tradition of understanding the notion “socio-cultural”, and gives its classification. The interdependence of the notion content with the formation of socio-cultural methodology is proved. For the first time the paper proposes to consider the socio-cultural approach within the framework of the postnonclassical paradigm. The peculiarity of understanding of the socio-cultural method as a multidimensional one is described in detail. A research algorithm based on the principle of complementarity of methodological procedures is proposed. It adds to the method of investigation the property of emergence, which is transferred to the study subject during the research.
