Abstract.
The article is devoted to the religious-philosophical understanding of the insufficiently studied views of the genesis of evil in the context of theodicy of the Russian religious thinker S. N. Bulgakov. The relationship between the notions “Sophia”, “God-manhood”, “good”, “evil”, “freedom”, “responsibility”, “economy” is traced. Within the framework of sophiology S. N. Bulgakov solves the main problems of human existence, develops the doctrine of the world process, which from the act of creation, through being in a fallen condition and before the final Transformation is represented as a “God-man process” and reveals the nature of the emergence of evil in the world.
