Abstract.
The article traces the evolution of the enamel creativity by A. Yu. Talashchuk, a monumental artist, beginning with the works made at the international enamel symposium in Kecskemet (1983, 1986) and finishing with the works performed in the 2000s, revealing the origins of his individual artistic style formation. The author pays special attention to the analysis of the design of the works, noting the desire to find an individual solution for each of them. The final conclusions of the study are connected with the identification of the features of A. Yu. Talashchuk’s artistic language, since they will become the foundations for St. Petersburg school of easel enamel.
