Abstract.
The article is devoted to determining the role of moral attitude to life in the fate of the individual and society. Basing on the retrospective analysis of great thinkers’ views on this problem and socio-political practice in the recent decades of national history the author proves the rationality and expediency of the attitude of homo sapiens to others from the standpoint of duty, justice, humanism. And the viability of the country is also determined by the degree of morality dominance in public relations. The paper evaluates modern moral atmosphere in the country and identifies the main factors of its formation: economic relations, dominant ideology, classical education content, etc.
