FORMATION OF DIGITAL INTELLECT AND MEDIA POLICY

Abstract.
The article considers the problem of forming a new breed of intellect, which differs from classical prototypes and satisfies the trends of the modern media reality. The author provides arguments in favour of the digital intellect notion and identifies the limits and basic structural principles of this type of intellect. Digital intellect is formed as a means to arrange the space of modern communications and comes out as a necessary correlate of the media policies aimed to control not only certain acts of network communication but the individual’s wish to communicate and express himself through this process.
