PROBLEM OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIOCULTURAL MODERNIZATIONS INTERRELATION

Abstract.
The article considers the nature of interrelation of the fundamental aspects of social dynamics: economic and sociocultural modernizations. Two approaches to this problem are identified. According to the first one, economic and sociocultural modernizations are considered as integral elements of the modernization process as a whole. According to the second one, economic modernization occurs within the framework of sociocultural modernization, and contradictions between them are possible. The author compares these approaches and by the example of the money circulation process shows in what sense economic modernization may not correspond to sociocultural one.
