Abstract.
By the material of F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel “Demons”, the article examines socio-philosophical and philosophical-anthropological aspects of nihilism as a sociocultural and spiritual basis of revolutionary underground and extremist consciousness. The authors examine the consequences of nihilistic attitude among the Russian radical left-wing intelligentsia, its interrelation with anthropological degradation, formation of a nihilistic human and extremist consciousness. The paper proposes a typologization of nihilistic personalities of revolutionary underground and analyses the structure of social relations between them.
