Abstract.
The paper presents results of studying the phenomenon of “practical illusion”, to which modern researchers pay almost no attention, which determines scientific novelty of the work. Sources and nature of objectified illusiveness are uncovered. The article shows that the essential feature of many social institutions representing “practical illusion” is non-conformity to their obligations. The work reviews various forms of fetishism (practical illusion): ideological, commodity, political, social. The study aims to identify forms, grounds for and mechanisms of illusionary social structures formation.
