Topological and Perspective Interpretation of the Basic Ontological Foundations of E. Goffman’s Frame Theory

Abstract.
The study introduces ontological interpretation of E. Goffman’s frame theory based on the key provisions of G. Leibniz’s philosophy. The researcher focuses on the analytical component of E. Goffman’s theory (frame analysis) and shows its ontological topological-perspective ambiguity. Thus, frame analysis, traditionally understood as a method of empirical data processing, acquires philosophical interpretation and is considered as a special type of representation. Scientific originality of the paper involves developing an interdisciplinary methodological approach to analysing ontological foundations of sociological theory within the framework of socio-philosophical studies. The conducted research has allowed the author to develop a methodological approach to studying frame analysis.
