Abstract.
The aim of the study is to comprehend the modern historiosophical discourse of the political dynamics of Russia, in order to identify the key aspects of the relationship between the power and society. The scientific originality lies in the typology of the methodological approaches of modern research aimed at a holistic picture of the national historical and political process. On the basis of isolating the general points of historiosophical approaches, a certain generalizing model of the political dynamics of the domestic society has been formed. As a result, it is shown that the modern historiosophical discourse of Russian political dynamics focuses on the growing distance between the state and society, interrupted by very limited and fragmentary attempts of their interaction, usually dictated only by situational necessity. The authors consider this approach to be somewhat limited due to an excessive shift in emphasis on the contradictions between the state and society, leaving behind the scenes contradictions within the elites.
