Abstract. Modern situation requires the active involvement of a future teacher into the research activity which has a powerful personal, value, culturological potential and secures the students’ freedom to discover and explore the truth, creates the provisions for the full-value productive development of a personal, intellectual and creative potential throughout the life. Future teachers should acquire the skill to organize research activity and to teach the learners to develop autonomously their own educational trajectories, to discover information and acquire new knowledge. For that purpose the authors consider it necessary to improve the supervision of the students’ research activity on the basis of the scientific theory of management.
