Abstract. Stereometry studying by students of the engineering class must provide the solution of such multi-figure problems, which develop engineering thinking. The use of geometric simulation means in the computer programmes “Компас” and “Inventor” will certainly provoke interest in design process accompanying problems solution. Introduction of computer technologies in the educational process of the modern school allows not only getting a solution in the visual form, but also creating a three-dimensional model with the help of a 3D-printer.
