Abstract. In the reviewed book, the author systematizes scientific ideas about the place and role of literary concepts in the structure of a literary work. These concepts are nominated by recurring and local key vocabulary and form a complex system of interrelationships between key vocabulary and other textual and extra-textual components. Of particular value are examples of analysis of works by Russian writers of the 19th and 20th centuries, aimed at revealing the axiological potential of the literary text. The author’s proposed examples of conceptological analysis can be used in school literature lessons, strengthening the cultural channels of influence of a literary work on the formation of the student-reader’s personality, contributing to its spiritual and moral development.
