GENRE TRANSFORMATIONS IN G. GAZDANOV'S PROSE

Abstract. Gazdanov's prose is characterized by deep philosophy, the significant layer of which is existential consciousness. Its literary advantages are as follows: correct rhythm, flowing of phrase, saturation of language, saturation of each phrase with associations and images. They are found in all writer's novels as each his work is a search of man, a disclosure of his essence, his destination.
