TO THE QUESTION ABOUT VLADIMIR NABOKOV'S CREATIVE METHOD

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the genesis of V. Nabokov's creative method. Being the writer synthesizing various manifestations of modernism, V. Nabokov could not avoid the influence of symbolism. The writer continues A. Bely's symbolic tradition. The dualism of the world in V. Nabokov's creativity is transformed up to poly-worlds as a hero's going away from the reality. The problem of the differentiation of "I" and reflected images gives birth to the type of a hero-artist for whom creation is the only way of existence.
