Abstract.
The article reveals the role of metaphor as one of the factors of ethno-cultural specificity reflection. The author pays special attention to the fact that ethno-cultural metaphors being the important elements of the language picture of the world depict the way of reality division and classification accepted within the limits of the language community and are the reflection of values system.
