Abstract.
The article is devoted to the figurative use (or transposition) of temporal verb forms in the German language, to the revelation of their paradigmatic and syntagmatic meanings in the use context, and also to the correlation of the temporal characteristic of verbal action with the moment of speech and the certain reference point.
