ABOUT THE SYSTEM OF ASPECT-TENSE FORMS IN THE BURYAT LANGUAGE (THE NEWEST CATEGORIZATION)

Abstract. The author offers the new approach to the principles of the categorization of aspect and tense in the Buryat language and presents nine aspect-tense forms the basis of which are the three main tense groups: simple tense, continuous tense and perfect tense. Each of the simple, continuous and perfect tenses is divided into present, future and past. These nine aspect-tense forms may be both synthetic and analytic.
