Abstract.
This article is devoted to the problem of text delacunization during translation process. The choice of translation strategies appears to be ethno-culturally conditioned. The author undertakes the attempt to reveal and describe the basic translation techniques which are the key to understanding the specificity of the interaction of ethno-cultures taking part in translation.
