Abstract.
Researchers' interest to language consciousness problems and mentality peculiarities is still topical in modern linguistics. The problem of the article is conditioned by the attention to the theme of intercultural communication harmonization on the basis of fiction texts. The new presented approach to fiction translation research allowed revealing the main idea that while representing a text in a target language a translator masters the ability to explicate concepts.
