Abstract. The article is devoted to Mongolia and PRC Inner Mongolia Buryat people's folklore traditional genres existence specificity research. The author reveals the peculiarities of areal traditions, their oral poetic creative work samples genre characteristic, traces poetics and plots connection in Buryat people's oral poetry under the conditions of their adaptation to new living conditions basing on the analysis of the folklore material collected in Buryat aimags of Mongolia and China.
