Abstract.
The author considers realia translation questions in pragmatic aspect, undertakes the attempt to analyze translation methods and the ways of monetary units names pragmatic adaptation by the material of Russian classical literature works translations into English, and pays special attention to the pragmatic adequacy degree of realia translation different methods use.
