Abstract.
The author considers the problems of quantitative and qualitative analysis in modern corpus linguistics, the effectiveness degree of introspection method, characterizes the levels of categorization and annotation representing corpus data interpretation, and analyzes the notion of experimental material in corpus linguistics.
