Abstract.
The author reveals the influence of technical higher education establishment teachers' speech culture on the speech culture of future specialists, the interrelation of professional knowledge system formation and the level of a student's speech and overall development, and singles out two interrelated levels - correctness and speech skills, and two main components of speech culture - normative and communicative-pragmatic ones.
