Abstract.
The author considers the derivational means of the modern German language, which are the constituents of interpersonality functional-semantic field, pays special attention to the role of the derivational formants involved in the formation of the field vertical structure, and analyzes the elements of prefixal and postfixal nature and their place in the central zone or peripheral zone of the field.
